Jon Mager - National Director of Regional Support
Jon Mager was appointed to the interim role of National Director Regional Support in September 2006.
After a successful career as a history teacher he changed focus to set up Pupil Referral Units in Doncaster followed by the headship of an independent residential special school for boys and girls with severe
behaviour difficulties.
His local government career took him to assistant director roles covering Inclusion, Early Years, Finance and HR in Grampian Region, Aberdeen City and then East Riding of Yorkshire culminating in his promotion to Director of Lifelong Learning and then Director of Children’s and Adult’s Service there.
