Pete Dudley - National Director Primary
Pete Dudley was appointed National Director Primary in 2006, responsible for the Primary National Strategy support to primary teachers and schools to raise standards across the whole curriculum for children aged from 5 to 11.
A former primary teacher and OFSTED accredited primary inspector, Pete has held senior leadership roles in local authorities including Essex and Redbridge with responsibilities covering all aspects of school improvement, the Primary literacy and numeracy strategies, assessment and English as an additional language.
Before joining the Strategies in September 2005 as Senior Regional Director East and East Midlands, Pete worked for the National College of School Leadership with a particular focus on learning networks.
